Fullmetal Alchemist
Hagane no Renkinjutsushi, otherwise known as Fullmetal Alchemist, is an amazing shounen manga
series by Arakawa Hiromu that ran in Monthly Shounen Gangan from 2001 through 2010. The series spawned two
separate anime TV series, anime movies, numerous FMA novels, CD dramas, and video games.
Most of the Fullmetal Alchemist doujinshi that I own are for one of my favorite manga/anime couples,
Roy Mustang x Riza Hawkeye. (The pairing is known as "RoyAi" or "RoyEye" for short.) Riza and Roy are my
two favorite characters from the series (in that order), as well as two of my favorite manga characters.
Some Hagaren books in my collection also feature Edward Elric x Winry Rockbell (a cute couple), Lin
Yao x Ran Fun (also rather cute), and some other pairings (Jean Havoc -> Hawkeye in particular). I also
love Olivier Mira Armstrong (my third favorite character in the series), so I try to pick up doujinshi
with her when I can (though I'm not a really big fan of Miles x Olivier, as many Olivier fans are). Sadly,
there are not many Alphonse Elric x May Chang doujinshi, which is a shame because those two kids are adorable
together.
My favorite Hagaren circles are Skyprism, s.c.d., Inside x Noise, and Chocolate Queen. I also really like
USA Gunbu, Genei Humanoid, 527, Toua Antena, and Tenshin Monogatari, though I'm kind of in love with many of the
circles listed below in some way or form.
