Sailormoon
Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon is a
magical girl shoujo manga series created by Takeuchi Naoko. It was originally 18 tankoubon long but was
later re-printed into 14 volumes under the name Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon. There was also an
extremely famous and popular 200-episode anime series that was based loosely on the manga, as well as
three anime movies, a series of live-action musicals, a live-action TV show, and numerous other media
and merchandise.
Sailor Moon was my first major manga and anime series. As such, it has a special place in my heart.
My favorite characters are Tenoh Haruka
and Kaioh Michiru (Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune). My love for them, for their relationship (they
are still my ultimate OTP of all time), and for the series actually got me into doujinshi.
The vast majority of my doujinshi are Haruka x Michiru, though a handful are Mamoru x Usagi. There are
also numerous other random pairings abound, especially in the anthologies.
